On Wednesday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m. Senate Democratic Policy Committee Chair Nick Miller (D-14) will host a Policy hearing at Samuel Staten Jr. Building: Laborers Training Facility alongside Senator Hughes (D-7), Senator Kane (D-9), Senator Saval (D-1), Senator Street (D-3), and Senator Tartaglione (D-2).

This hearing will examine ways to protect Pennsylvania’s infrastructure and economy with a skilled, protected, and reliable workforce.

Join neighbors, organizers, advocates, and your elected representatives for an important discussion on how we can share strategies and work together to build a resilient city and commonwealth.

On Saturday, May 17, from 11am to 1pm, join State Senator Nikil Saval and State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta for a free paper shredding event at Ludlow Elementary School! Bring all your unneeded and outdated sensitive documents, correspondence, and folders for quick, easy, confidential onsite shredding and disposal. Paper only, please. No binders, binder clips, or books. Senator Saval’s staff will be on hand to offer resources and assistance.

Look for the shredding truck in the parking lot next to Ludlow’s gymnasium on 6th Street between Jefferson and Master Streets.
