On Jueves, Abril 4, from 11:30am to 4:30pm, I’m thrilled to be partnering with South Philadelphia High School for its third annual city-wide Job and College Fair! This event is open to all high school students in Philadelphia.

At this free event, students can…

• Connect with dozens of colleges and employers from businesses and labor unions looking for workers RIGHT NOW!
• Attend a resume workshop and get personalized help to highlight their skills and abilities
• Attend a FAFSA workshop to learn about financing college
• Come dressed for success and get a free headshot for their resumes and LinkedIn profiles
• Learn what they need to submit their working papers (if age 17 or younger)
• Enjoy music and refreshments
• Learn about the landscape of work in Philly so that they are ready to go out and grow their futures

Whether students are looking for an opportunity for the summer, a paid apprenticeship, or a chance to jumpstart their careers, this event offers something for everyone.
